Actually just the opposite. If you don't pay employees for the products they have produced then there is less currency in circulation to buy those products, which is DEFLATIONARY. On the other hand if you pay people to make products and then blow those products up on the battlefield then THAT'S inflationary, with more dollars in the hands of workers/consumers then there is products to buy (you blew them up;)
