Again, putin has shown no desire for a peace agreement. What seems to be the only realistic assessment of his actions is his intent to conquer the whole of Ukraine. Ceding areas of Ukraine to him solves little to nothing. At the very best it legitimizes his criminal invasion, a VERY dangerous precedent. If putin desires peace he can easily obtain it, and no other actor in this war HAS that power...putin alone decides, war or peace.
