Agreed totally with your "self organizing" conclusion but I don't think those pre-March numbers are all than relevant. Bernie got some "bandwagon effect" before Super Tuesday, after the blowouts the bandwagon was all with Biden. Totals were pretty close to that 25%, which I think was Sanders' natural base. In any case Biden didn't need and skullduggery to win the nomination, and probably didn't get any. What drives me nuts about the Bernie speculations is that politics is played now and in the future, not in the past. Just wasted energy to speculate on how awesome Bernie would have been, didn't happen and probably never could have.
