Alarmist? Who me? I'm a skeptic, and I'm skeptical of most flat pronouncements concerning our climate future, including yours, including those of the people you call alarmists. Just wondering, are you saying that there's no such thing as synergistic tipping points in our warming process? If so, Why? What science would support that conclusion?

I don't expect a fire to damage or destroy my home, and since I own free and clear I'm not required to carry insurance. That loss would be too catastrophic for comfort however, and so I carry insurance. Given full consideration to the range of scientific finding and opinion, it seems to me that there is a far greater chance of catastrophic consequences of warming than of my house burning down, particularly since some are obviously happening already.

Given that there's so many collateral benefits to dumping fossil fuels as quickly as possible, the responsible course of action is obvious. Just think, if Europe wasn't so addicted to Russian gas then Putin would still be another tin pot dictator. If the globe wasn't so addicted to Saudi petro then we could dump our support for this odious regime. When the drivers in my home city switch to electric vehicles the average life expectancy will increase by several years, given our deadly pollution.

What I find curious is your emotional response to my dry comments, No wailing from me, just normal, rational discussion,,,good riddance to AOC? What have her political statements and positions done to you? Possibly you have more financial skin in the fossil fuel game than others. Inquiring minds and all that;)
