Amy, I have veered away from watercolors in the last couple of years and into guitar building...maybe these teachers can steer me back a little. My favorite teacher, in the '90s, was Tom Lynch, and I would do anything to find those videos again. I think they were shown on PBS. Looked at his tutorials again a couple of years ago and it seemed to me he was painting more like Kinkaide, definitely not my favorite style. His stuff from the 90s was far more focused which appeals to me.

I published some pics here on Medium in my story, Waterworks, and have used some for illustration in Fins and Feathers and Talons, and How Dementia is Changing My Father's Art.

Hope your story spurs me on, here's a link to a more recent Tom Lynch tutorial that has more a flavor of his old tutorials, thanks, Griz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWk_gdIpSaU&list=PLjuBhu9NsnoRaVzNOHGy3UuEjh4Pj99fH&index=1 "Fall River 2 with music at high speed". You can also just google Tom Lynch YouTube tutorials;)
