And it's both in the interest of and the responsibility of those disabled people to make their needs known and to advocate for necessary changes. While we can hope that builders will anticipate needs that they don't have themselves the reality is that they often don't and there is really only one way to make them aware...those with the needs have to speak up and insist on inclusion.
