Another bulletin from Fantasyland. Bernie never pulled more than about 25% in any voting primary, an accurate reflection of his popularity in the Democratic Party. If a candidate can't draw more than 50% in a primary there's no need to organize against them. Facts should matter, and the fact of the '20 primary season was that Sanders was only the choice of the left wing of the Party, with more moderate candidates splitting the remaining 75%. As far as the mask proposal goes, this wave is propelled by Covid scofflaws, who won't wear masks or get vaccinated. These people make up the vast majority of serious illness, hospitalizations, and deaths, which now are the main problem with surging infection numbers, and the scofflaws AREN'T going to wear the masks sent to them. Sad that people on both the left and the right can't get over the election and come into the present. trump just fled a Steve Inskeep NPR interview over his '20 election fantasies; I guess Bernie fans have the same difficulty.
