Another silly thought. We fear China because we don't want to fight a stupid war with them...we want to trade with China but given their abysmal human rights record, their ongoing genocide against the Tibetans and Uigurs, their crushing of democracy in Hong Kong and their stated ambition to crush Taiwanese democracy by military invasion (like Russia and Ukraine) doing business becomes increasingly unsupportable.
