Apparently you didn't see the highlighted section of the authors article on which I commented. His claim was twofold; that one TWH serves the power needs of about `187,000 people for one year AND that "100.000 people die per TWH produced". You strike me as a numbers guy and this number really jumped out at me. Most Americans consume power at about this rate (author's claim) and if the death rate held true then the U.S., with around 350 million people should see upwards of 175 million deaths per year from the production of this form energy, a story I missed;)
