Back when we ate at restaurants, one such meal the night before would goose my weight a couple of pounds the day after, water weight gain of course that would disappear in a day or so. Since I monitor my sodium and keep it low, many restaurant meals are too salty to enjoy and some are too salty to eat. Your taste buds adjust to taste much lower sodium levels than is in the above foods.
