Can’t agree that there is any abomination involved in this discussion. The concept of “abomination” in human actions is a wholly religious one and has no place in matters of legal or human rights. Religious believers have the right to discriminate against each other within the confines of their religious organizations over such ideas, a right protected by the “free exercise” clause of the 1st Amendment. They have no right to extend that discrimination into the public square.
