Depends on your definition of we. Personally I went for the plug-in hybrid (Chev Volt) and installed the outside outlet/charging station that I wanted anyway in my porch next to my driveway. Not everyone can do that, but I have friends who park their EVs in their garages, most of which have outlets.

Hard to imagine someone making even the reasonable investment in a used EV without figuring out the charging end, but I guess that's possible;)
