Emotions seem to be critical to decision making. Saw an interesting story on an Iraq war veteran with brain damage that inhibited his access to his emotions…he could get pinned down in the cereal isle of the supermarket for hours, no way to make a choice between the dozens of shiny options, no emotions to guide that choice.
