Even it that were correct the cultural/technological transition away from personal transportation is not and will not be easy. That transition will include ever lighter and less impact electric vehicles, ever cleaner energy sources and continuing reductions in wasteful and unnecessary trips. Proposing solutions to environmental challenges that nobody will adopt won’t make a lot of progress.
