Exactly backwards. You don't have their responsibility so you can spout off ad nauseum about what they should or shouldn't do with no concern about consequences. They do have the responsibility so both their words and actions have real world consequences for both their constituents and the public at large,. They know this of course, and will vote accordingly.

I wouldn't expect you to want to listen to opinions that aren't intended to inflame outrage, outrage is your stock in trade. You are confused (or pretend to be) about who will advance progressive policies and who will spike them. ALL Republicans are dedicated to destroying the progressive agenda, a couple of Democrats want to slow it down. The arithmetic that I learned says that 263 is a bigger number than 2, but then there is the "new math" in schools today;)

You recommend that the progressive caucus gamble the entire reconciliation bill to force two senators, who YOU describe as hopelessly corrupt and compromised, to cave and vote for far larger social and environmental spending. If you are correct, if they ARE entirely in the pocket of their corporate sponsors, why would they?
