First, this is just an assumption. While I agree that it seems unlikely that this or many other behaviors are being directed by DNA we simply don't know.

And second, why would you think that there IS an explanation for the "whole story"? Purely human bias to assume that everything has a knowable cause or explanation. It takes a truly creative reading of my comment to find any notion that I am "pretending to know" what explains everything. I only pointed out the inadequacies of the silly pocket watch analogy, a truly unoriginal trope that infects the body of religious "thinking" in this country, and the lack of an explanation offered and logical difficulties posed by positing supernatural forces or entities as creators of the universe.

I am certainly interested in any thoughts you have on the points I made. On the other hand attempting to put words in my mouth or thoughts on my page is neither interesting nor honest.
