Hard to give this supposed finding much credibility. Over 47% of voters (the actual relevant poll takers) voted for the most corrupt, disgusting, and dangerous man to ever sit in the Oval Office. Doubt that a single one of them supported the agenda of the l Left. A vague question like "support of a government run health care plan" doesn't untangle this disparity. Medicare is a government run health care program that is supported by a vast majority of Americans. Support of Medicare does not imply support of MFA. The country remains divided, the right made gains in an election that attracted the largest turnout of voters by percentage in 120 years. Not smart or supported by evidence to conclude that making gains on progressive policies can be done without support from both "sides".
