Hard to suss out exact figures but the average energy usage for a household of 4 is about 50 tons a year, so the embodied C02 in that tree is about that of 1/4 year's use of a single household. That tree, and all its old growth neighbors should be preserved of course, they are literally irreplaceable in the lifetime of most empires, but numbers are numbers. You should also note that much of the embodied carbon in that tree will not be released into the atmosphere but, as you point out, will be sequestered in musical instruments and lumber...that is it would be if so much of that irreplaceable spruce wood were not used to make paper products which will incredibly be consumed as toilet paper and paper towels, which do degrade and return the carbon to the air.
