How hard it is to lose Murphy so early and so suddenly. I lost my sweet boy Bo two months ago, after a long and gradual glide path, and though I blame myself for not managing his medical issues better there was no avoiding the end that was coming soon. We can't really know what they are thinking, but I'm willing to bet that Murphy was growing to love Freddy and would have become the best of friends if only he had the time. I have my crazy sheep dog Finn still, and he never really warmed up to Bo in the year after I adopted him, sadly we ran out of time too. Your dogs know how lucky they are to have you.
