I doubt the premise, that we can't easily imagine a superior economic system that supersedes capitalism. I see such speculations constantly here on Medium, though they universally leave out the question of transition from here to there.

I spent a lifetime building, creating value, and I am very aware of the challenges posed by improving structures while those structures are being inhabited. I often feel that utopian theorists have no familiarity with this process.

Anybody can form a critique, the hard part is figuring out how to improve in a real world situation;)
