I know that you're not a reporter and that as an opinion writer you work to far looser standards. Fair enough, I guess. Still, off the top of my head I can think of a half dozen legitimate reasons to make these hires including the most obvious that this bench is desperately understaffed and the backlog of at risk children from trump policy is overwhelming our facilities, putting those kids at further risk.

You have made a flat and fairly extreme claim, that "there is no justifying his administration's decision to move forward these appointments", and I very much doubt you know who they are, how their selections were made, what calculations the Biden Admin is making for the other 83% of hires they plan to make. Were you writing for a legitimate publication your editor would ask for a lot more before running what essentially is an echo of other people's opinion. The only thinking of your own that you ever seem to reveal is that you're pissed, you're outraged, they're all rotten at heart. Surely you must have the occasional original thought or political hypothesis to share.
