I so relate to your story, though I have never named a vehicle. Once you go van it's hard to go back! I've owned three different Astros over the last 30 years...as a short guy contractor I always appreciated being able to load the rack without a stepladder. My latest is an '03 (Chev stopped making them in '04) with only 93 k when I bought it and 103k now, which gives it a prospective future life of at least another 100k. Don't job any more but have an identity crisis without a work vehicle. Got a plug in hybrid for daily driving and long trips and had to get rid of one vehicle...the Astro won the contest and pulls my boat for outdoor fun and supplies my home improvement projects;)
