I think it’s a mistake to attribute attachment style entirely to parenting styles and experiences as a child. Some people seem to come hardwired with confidence and empathetic connection skills and some seem to be the opposite, with shades of grey in the middle. No doubt parenting can enhance or exacerbate these traits, can induce attachment styles, but I think it can be a neutral factor as well.
