I think it's probably best to not eat if you're not hungry. I'm not hungry in the morning, have never been hungry in the morning and only ate breakfast because it was supposedly the "most important meal". I do find that my athletic performance is negatively affected if I eat before playing, so if I'm hitting the tennis ball or golfing I don't eat till I'm done. Since adopting this pattern I have dropped BP by 20 points, dropped 15 pounds, and feel great, aside from normal wear and tear from 70 years of high physical activity;)
