If Biden runs he won't lose New York, which Elizabeth knows and relies on, or would if she cared about making progressive changes in the country more than she cares about gaining clicks, claps, and pushing her ideology. On the other hand if she "succeeds" in convincing a lot of young and gullible prospective voters that their votes are wasted on Democrats she can help the actual reactionaries win office, just as they did in '16, which gave them the courts and unleashed a generation of attacks on the progressive agenda from a truly powerful institution.
