If you are going to attempt this judgement then you need to include more than the cherry picked examples of Biden that make him look like a dick. When making that judgement it is fundamentally dishonest to neglect to mention his authorship of the Violence Against Women act, including key work to get it reauthorized several time, his key work in passing the Brady Bill and the assault weapons ban, his long history of support for Unions, his work to add community support organizations for at risk youth into the GOP crime bill of the 90’s, his contributions to the Stimulus of ’09, the Dodd-Frank re-regulation of the financial sector, his forcing action on Obama to support marriage equality, his work to get the “big efing deal” ACA passed. In all these cases he successfully moved the ball in the progressive direction. There are some more ideologically pure folks on the left who have not managed to move the ball at all.
