I'm impressed by much of what you have accomplished but this statement wrenches reality all out of recognition. Greed is not enlightened...it is the opposite of enlightenment. Self interest is not similar to greed; "intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food: "mercenaries who had allowed greed to overtake their principles" . As the dictionary definition explains, greed denies or overtakes principles.
Nor is the drive to succeed the same thing as greed. When you saw opportunities to improve the value of a company in trouble you were exercising intelligence and vision, overcoming the possible initial greedy impulse to cash in quick and move on. Wanting just recompense is not greed, wanting unwarranted recompense is.
