Like the comments below I am rarely hungry before noon, even though I cook my old dad breakfast every morning. If I’m out on the river engaged in rowing and fishing it’s easy to go all day without eating. I actually feel full of energy and have to remind myself to stop around 2 pm or so and eat an apple or a sandwich. So much of our eating is triggered by boredom or anxiety, not by hunger, a feeling I am getting reacquainted with now that my fasts are 16 hours or longer.
