Many people do not fear BLM, don’t see them as violent, support them financially and in the streets, not to mention pounding the pavement to knock doors for their political campaigns. It seems possible that we are at a turning point where the plurality of white people who wish to be anti-racist and to make their country anti racist becomes a majority. Trump leads the overt and covert and possibly unconscious racist plurality; possible that they will never change. But they are old and getting older. It’s also possible that the revulsion for and reaction to Trump will solidify a majority in this country, an anti racist majority.
