Michael, sounds like it’s time to do what we did back in the day, the old involuntary Macrobiotic. Brown rice is cheap, so are dried beans, pick up a pressure cooker at the thrift store, learn how to use it. Onions, carrots, potatoes (whole everything, never peeled or scraped)whichever vegetable you can afford. Cook up a bunch of rice, soak the beans and cook up a bowl of those too, if you’ve got a wok and a stove, some olive oil and some soy sauce you’re in business. All real food, learn stir frys and add small portions of the meat you can afford, assuming you’re not veggies like we were. Beats Ramen all hollow…
