None of those founders participated in a revolution. The American “Revolution” was a war of liberation, conducted by the elected governments of the various colonies, who joined in a political confederation under the Articles of Confederation in 1777 to drive the British military occupiers out and later in a republic under the Constitution. Not sure which French Republic you are talking about, the one/ones following their revolution were marked by massacres, plots and counter plots, lynching campaigns, economic collapses and constant political turmoil that led eventually to an autocratic emperor. The Soviet Union was one of the most murderous dictatorships in history and a dismal failure on all fronts; the many tens of millions of Russians they killed were deaths in vain.
