Not exactly. We've documented the nucleotide sequences of the "genes" that code for the production of proteins, which make up about 1+% of the genome, and identified another 25% that seem to serve as regulators, but most of the strand is terra incognito, including the function of most of the protein and regulatory areas. We CAN see that the variation in these sequences both within and between "races" is quite minimal, which suggests that we are just beginning to understand how our genetic codes work, or even more basically, what and where they are;) I might add that to a Kalahari Bushman a city dweller of any color or ancestry would seem dumb indeed, unable to even see tracks and signs of animals, let alone know what they mean.
