Not sure that you can call getting a vibrator "doing the work". There are so many ways to pleasure a body with non-mechanical means, to build tension and anticipation, to edge excitement...mastering these with a partner would seem to me to be "the work" and also the pleasure.

BTW, women also make that dive for the genitals, which of course CAN work but is definitely less satisfying and less fun;)
