Not sure what you mean by “miscalculations on MFA”. Are you referring to her producing some numbers? MFA is, of course, a non starter in Congress for the foreseeable future, and it will be interesting to see how the eventual Dem nominee deals with all the debate rhetoric floating out there already. For a reference, The Kaiser Family Foundation (non-partisan research) finds that Americans favor MFA by 56% to 41%…until they find out that they would lose their private insurance, in which case support falls below 50%. A small majority opposes it if their taxes go up, by 55% to 40% Democratic voters would prefer a candidate that builds on Obamacare over one who tries to pass MFA as the next step in health care reform. Food for thought, but a voter who is “horrified” by Sen. Warren’s candidacy is either a conservative, an oligarch, or so committed to one candidate and one candidate alone that they pose a threat to the progressive cause. No one is indispensable.
