NOTHING outside of Russia "inspired" putin to invade Ukraine, outside of course of his greed and ambition to reconstruct the USSR. ALL the former states once occupied and oppressed by the USSR now want no part of Russian kleptocratic rule, and most are willing to defend themselves militarily to prevent putin's return.
