Once again, as an independent thinker can you not separate the ideas from their sometimes strident carriers? When many people are desperately poor, people like the rural white voters you cite, and a very few people amass unimaginably vast fortunes by leveraging their wealth to crush the small enterprises that once sustained those rural people, does it matter whether those billionaires are good or evil people? Regardless of their motives they are squeezing the life out of mom and pop stores, farms, communities, and replacing those enterprises with low wage, low benefit MacJobs that dehumanize and batter bodies to the point that pain relief becomes a staple.

Jeff Bezos could still be unimaginably wealthy if he paid Amazon workers great wages and ensured that their workdays were fulfilling and enjoyable...he just chooses not to. Evil? You make the call.
