One fairly easy way to do this is to include some form of intermittent fasting into your daily or weekly routine. Learning to feel the difference between actual hunger and boredom/emotional eating impulses is a huge lifetime "hack" that will help you limit those impulses and in particular the processed junk food that is doing harm outside of its calorie content. Further, teaching your body to smoothly shift from burning glucose stored in muscles and liver to burning fat not only helps defeat hunger impulses but has long term metabolic benefits as well;)
