I want a sane person in the White House, one with decent morals, reasonably high intelligence, a discernible work ethic, discernible ethics in general, and enough personal strength to avoid having Putin, Ergodan or Stephen Miller (or Rudy Guiliani) make their decisions for them. The above of course rules out Trump. After meeting those basic norms I would prefer a strong progressive, but first things first. None of this means I hate Trump; who has the time or emotional energy to waste on this pitiable excuse for an adult? I would of course pity him if he wasn’t in public office and thus a threat to the country.
