Palestinians in Gaza need to be liberated...from Hamas. Hamas, like the Likud and Netanyahu in Israel, want to fight it out to the bloody end, no quarter. Israelis can free themselves from the right wing grip of their current government through the ballot box. I don't know of a way for Gazans to free themselves from Hamas. As President Carter wisely and presciently said, "The fight will go on until ALL the combatants are convinced that there is nothing further to be gained by fighting".
