Right on about doomposting. So many of these don't offer any solutions or suggested actions, their basic point is "you're screwed". As to your ideas on governance, sorry, I don't see them as much more specific than "do something". If you could manage to install some kind of demonstration project, even at the level of community council or condo board, and write about it, that would help.
