Sean, you have GOT to learn to cook...and it's both easy and satisfying to feed yourself, your girlfriend/partner/friends, and of course a lot cheaper and liberating than just relying on premade meals. Keep that option for fill in, for times when you haven't shopped or are just too tired. but TAKE control of this critical path to health.
Buy a blood pressure cuff, less than $50 at the RiteAid or other pharmacy, and use it daily so that you see trends before they have persisted for 8 months between checkups.
Also, check out intermittent fasting...makes weight control easy, breaks the hold that habitual eating has on your life (you relearn what ACTUAL hunger feels like), good for metabolic health, and gives you back a waking hour or so a day. Take control and be healthy my friend;)
