Sounds a little like Don Quixote's quest to me. I'm a practical person, I like to work with practical tools on problems to which I see actual solutions. Doesn't mean that humanity won't some day move past its belief in possession, I don't see any way to get there within the timeline of the very real problems we face. That's probably going to be your job;)
