Thanks. As sole care giver to my 99 year old dad I have been dealing with hearing aids for nearly a decade. He's in a memory care unit now, they do okay with the necessary cleaning and maintenance, and only occasionally lose them;) I am pretty sure that some of his dementia is due to untreated hearing loss and so far mine hasn't affected me socially, I watch it closely;)
