Thanks Linda...disaster porn just drives me nuts, serves NO practical purpose (other than gaining clicks and claps for the author) and actually discourages readers from taking necessary actions. One area for political activism is mandating the use of ONLY truly recyclable packaging, possibly hemp or other fibers that don't threaten reforestation and protection of current forests. It shouldn't be difficult to buy produce without buying plastic packaging. Will be buying that book;)
