The 40% are wrong and you are too. Our divisions are mostly urban/rural, not the supposed red and blue states and most people are too deeply vested in their jobs, families, mortgages, communities to have any spare time or energy for actual fighting with each other. Our media constantly bombard Americans with conflict caught on camera because they are trolling for eyeballs and conflict sells. Maybe YOU are doing that too...
