The "dirty" electricity argument is bogus. ICE engines are more dirty and less efficient...even if you charge your EV from a coal burning power plant supply you still create less greenhouse gas and as an ancillary benefit spew less pollution into your immediate environment, a real boon to those of us who deal with unhealthy air;)
