The lamest possible excuses, why isn't that a surprise? Trump had all the "intelligence" needed to form an effective response. He refused to do so. Doesn't matter where the virus came from, who griped about his response, the political effect of his taking action, these considerations are distantly secondary to his responsibility as president, to protect the U.S. citizens. Korea had their first covid fatality on the same day we did. Korea' president responded with effective national public health measures, ours tried to hide the problem. Korea has under 400 total deaths, we have over 205,000 and counting. Their leader succeeded, ours failed.
