The point of research, inquiry is not to get the final answer, it’s to get the next answer. The most maddening aspect of religion is that it claims to have that final answer. To me, finding the final answer would be a tragedy, no more inquiry, curiosity would be a meaningless drive, emotion. Not for me, and thankfully, not going to happen.
