This is beyond dumb. Schumer isn't running this cycle, can't BE primaried. NO doubt AOC is seriously considering that run, no doubt Schumer knows that. To suggest, entirely without evidence, that Schumer won't pull out all the stops to block a Trump SCOTUS nomination is an excursion to fantasy land. We are in this terrible situation entirely because of our own divisions, we have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Had progressives not listened to Nader's siren song in 2000, had progressives not listened to and spread Russian and Brietbart level disinformation about Hillary in '16 we would have a solid progressive majority in the court, no Citizens United ruling and no vast ocean of dark money flooding our politics, an intact Voting rights bill, an unchallenged ACA and a clear path to MFA...but no, we had to screw up two winnable elections and now we will have a generation of courts antagonistic to every progressive idea. Way to go progressives:(
