This is neither fair nor wise. In either case the superficial nature of the judgement not only portends ill for the relationship, not only devalues the real personal assets that can make or break a romance, but of course reinforces the sexist stereotypes that are anathema to women's liberation. Mimbo or bimbo or authentic self, who is "fuckable"?

I know a couple in passing (I pass them at the dog park and say hi), he is tall and broad shouldered, most women would see him as very handsome. She is short and round and few would say she has sex appeal...they hold hands, laugh and talk, there's a distinct romantic vibe. No doubt the thought passes through many empty heads as they pass, "He could do better than that". That same thought would echo from ear to ear were she model gorgeous and he very short. "That" is what we reduce a complex and possibly spectacular person to with these judgements.
